- Post up to 5 room listings for free
- Search and filter room listings by various criteria
- Contact room owners directly through provided contact details
2. Eligibility
By using Romelanka.com, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Are legally allowed to enter into binding agreements
- Agree to abide by all applicable local laws
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.
- You agree to provide accurate and updated details.
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate our terms or policies.
4. Room Listings
- Room owners are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.
- Listings must not be misleading, illegal, or offensive.
- Listings violating our guidelines may be removed without prior notice.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Upload content that is copyrighted without permission
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload our servers or systems
6. Content Ownership
- Users retain ownership of their own content (e.g., room descriptions, photos).
- By posting content, you grant Romelanka.com a license to use, display, and promote that content on our platform.
7. Payment and Premium Features
Currently, Romelanka.com allows 5 free room listings per user. Additional paid or premium services (e.g., featured listings) may be introduced later. These will have separate terms and clear pricing.
8. Platform Availability
We strive to ensure uninterrupted service but do not guarantee constant uptime. We may perform maintenance or experience downtime due to technical or external issues.
9. Limitation of Liability
Romelanka.com and Lee Corporation (Pvt) Ltd are not liable for:
- Any disputes between users (e.g., room owners and tenants)
- Losses or damages arising from platform use
- Inaccurate or outdated listings
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Abusive or fraudulent behavior
- Legal or policy reasons
You may also delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes and update the effective date above.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
